Heterotrophic nutrition is performed when the cell is consumed organic matter already formed. In this type of nutrition there is, therefore, transformation of inorganic matter into organic matter. However, heterotrophic nutrition allows the processing of food in its own cell.
Possess this type of nutrition some bacteria, protozoa, fungi and animals.
The process of heterotrophic nutrition of a cell can be divided into seven stages:
Capture. The cell draws food particles creating vortices by their cilia or flagella, or pseudopodia broadcasts, which cover the food.
- Ingestion. The cell enters the food in a food vacuole or phagosome. Some hair cells, such as paramecia, are a kind of mouth, called cytostome, which ingest the food.
- Digestion. Lysosomes pour their digestive enzymes into the phagosome, which thus becomes digestive vacuole. The enzymes break down food into small molecules that form.
- Step membrane. Small molecules released in digestion pass through the membrane of the vacuole and spread throughout the cytoplasm.
- Defecation or egestion. The cell expels foreign molecules that are not useful.
- Metabolism. The set of reactions that occur in the cytoplasm. Its purpose is to provide energy for the cell phone and build organic matter itself. Metabolism is divided into two phases:
- Anabolism or construction phase in which, using the biochemical energy from catabolism and small molecules from digestion, synthesize large organic molecules.
- Catabolism or destruction phase, in which organic matter through cellular respiration, is oxidized in the mitochondria, resulting in biochemical energy.
- Excretion. Excretion is the removal to the outside through the cell membrane, the waste products of catabolism. These products are typically carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O) and ammonia (NH3).
Way too late and I am WAY to drunk but I’m pretty sure this would be good info for any website owner. I’ll bookmark and check in the AM, ready to pass out here.
Hey I think you have a great blog going here, I found it on Google.Nice.
