Colorectal Cancer

A screening service that makes you really

Colorectal cancer is responsible each year in France for 17,000 deaths per 37 000 new cases. This is the third most common cancer in terms of frequency, the second for mortality.
If the treatments have greatly increased, their effectiveness depends largely on early diagnosis of these tumors. But still 40% of these diagnoses are made when there are already metastases.

Membership of GPs remains as shy. Note that the Hemoccult gives 50% false positives and its reading can be performed by experienced centers.
Note nonetheless that when the disease is diagnosed at an early stage, the 5-year survival is 94%: the numbers speak for themselves for screening.

The gold standard for diagnosing this cancer still remains a colonoscopy, please talk to your doctor if you are bothered by recurring gastrointestinal symptoms that he defined in terms of an interest in completing this review, which remains. Unfortunately, a minimally invasive…
