The road to happiness is hard to find. But once you have it in your hands, you should be careful in regard to your belly, because a recent study in Japan has demonstrated that being overly optimistic may act as a major obstacle in terms of losing weight and lose weight.

Although optimism is usually taken as very positive, the study published in the journal Biopsychosocial Medicine showed that people who are too happy and optimistic find it difficult to lose weight.

To this end, researchers studied the psychological profiles of 101 obese people, women and men who participated in a weight loss program that lasted six months. Surprisingly, those who showed more difficulty in meeting their missions were the most optimistic.

An optimistic attitude helps improve the functioning of your immune system. Volunteers for research were students in the first year of law school, among them was found that those most optimistic had a stronger immune system and responded better to viruses and bacteria.

When his optimism waned, so did their immune system.

When I was little and a lot of time playing video games, my father told me: “why do not you play outside and exercise.” For him as for many others, video games and sedentary lifestyle are synonymous. Well actually two things went hand in hand … pretty far.

Time passes, we’re getting older and everything changes around us. And so it happened also with video games. For example, in Canada, has installed a gym where you can warm up, exercise and to burn calories in a training station based on the Nintendo Wii.

All this happens in Studeo 55 in Vancouver, which is believed to be the nation’s most prestigious fitness. Studio 55 was the first gym in the world to incorporate the popular video game console in a training circuit. The aim has been to lose calories and improve fitness while having fun.
